Jennifer Crowley
Administrator of Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center
Jennifer started working in long term care at the age of 15 as an activities assistant and knew immediately she loved working in long term care. Jennifer started working as a certified nursing assistant at age 17. She worked many years as a CNA and during that time earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration with a concentration in long term care. In 2016 Jennifer entered into an administrator-in-training program under the mentorship of Tara D’Andrea at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. Jennifer is now a Nursing Home Administrator for Oriol Health Care’s Oakdale Rehab and skilled nursing. Jennifer’s enthusiasm for long term care has led to a lifetime devotion to caring and taking pride in the work and compassion all long-term care health care workers provide. Jennifer’s son has also developed a passion to long term care and is working at Holden Rehab as a certified nursing assistant. Jennifer enjoys the outdoors and in her free time enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking.
Bozena “Bo” Makowski
Director of Nursing
Bo became the Director of Nursing at Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in early 2022. Bo was born in Gdansk, Poland where she earned a degree in Pharmaceutical Science before immigrating to the United States in 1980. Bo, like many before her, attended nursing school while working full time and caring for two young children. She graduated from nursing school in 1994 and has been working in Sub-Acute and Long-Term care ever since. In her free time Bo loves to spend time with her 4 grandchildren, Lila, Bodhi, Annabelle and Camila. She also loves chocolate, shopping, Christmas and swimming.
